Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This is a plain-language summary of what data The PM Playbook collects and why. If anything here is unclear, email ordishapplications@gmail.com and ask.

What we collect

The only personal data this site collects directly is your email address, and only if you give it to us — by signing up for the newsletter or requesting a free template. We don't require accounts, passwords, or any other personal details anywhere on the site.

Why we collect it

To send you the free template or newsletter issue you asked for, and future emails in the same vein. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately.

Who else sees it

  • Our email provider (currently ConvertKit or an equivalent) stores your email address to send the newsletter and template deliveries. They're bound by their own privacy and security terms as a data processor acting on our instructions.
  • Payment providers (Gumroad and/or Stripe) handle paid template purchases directly — we never see or store your card details. Their own privacy policies cover that transaction data.
  • Affiliate and partner links — pages like Tools and Courses contain affiliate links, clearly marked PARTNER. Clicking one takes you to a third-party site with its own privacy policy; we don't control what they collect once you're there.

We don't sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a privacy-focused analytics tool (Plausible or Fathom) that doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you individually across sites — it only reports aggregate numbers like page views and which pages are popular. We don't run advertising trackers or cross-site tracking pixels.

How long we keep it

Your email address is kept for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, it's removed from active mailing lists; some minimal record may persist in the email provider's own suppression list, purely so we don't accidentally re-add you later.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely, at any time — email ordishapplications@gmail.com. If you're in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (the ICO, if you're in the UK) if you think we've mishandled your data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Worth a periodic check if you're concerned about how your data is handled.
